Hey, everyone!!! This is Rosetta.
Well, people keep asking me why you have a middle name like "Rosetta" ?
and why your Name is "Hitme"?? LOL
well, here is an answer for that :)
みなさま、こんにちわ！ロゼッタです。
今回は、なんで、Hitme Rosettaという名前なのか、いろんな方に質問されるので、説明いたしますw
◆The Name... "Rosetta"
なんで、ロゼッタなのかは、とりあえず、このYouTubeを見たらわかるはず！w
First of all, I'm totally Japanese so I don't have a middle name!!LOL
BUT Why Rosetta?? well, if you watch this YouTube, you'll probably get it!!!
「この男、ロゼッタ人」
"This man... Rosetta species"
男性が、いろんな外国人に合わせて案内してる姿。。ここから、きてます！w
so it named by this man, the way he talks to different kinds of foreigners.
本業では、いろんな国に行きます。
去年のグループで仕事をしているとき、
韓国人通訳が、乗ってくれば、私は、韓国語を、話す。
タイCREWがいれば、タイ語で話す。
フィリピンへ行けば、タガログ語で、清掃のおばちゃんと話す。
ロシアへ行けば、ロシア語をちょろっと、、、
ドイツへ行けば、ドイツ語をちょろっと、、
フランスへ行けば、フランス語をちょろっと、、、
イタリアへ行けば、イタリア語をちょろっと、、
こんな感じで、いろんな言語をはなしてたら、先輩たちから、
「いったい、何カ国語しゃれべんの？？w」
「この女、ロゼッタ人！！！」
ってことで、あだ名が、「ロゼッタ〜〜〜♪」と呼ばれるようになったわけですw
In my real job, I fly a lot and visit many countries.
when I was in previous group(our company has groups for each sections) last year,
I was like...
If there is a Korean Interpreter, then I speak Korean.
If there were Thai crews, then I speak in Thai language and chatting with those crews.
If i go to Philippines, then I speak Tagalog with the cleaning staffs.
If i visit Russian, then I speak a little Russian.
If i visit Germany, then I speak a little German.
If i visit France, then I speak a little French.
If i visit Italy, then I speak a little Italian...
Since I was speaking so much languages,
my co-workers started to ask me like
" OMG!! How many language you can speak?"
" You are like the man from ROSETTA STONE!!!"
"This Woman... Rosetta Species.."
So they started to call me "Rosetta" ... haha
でも、何か国語を話せるから、すごいで終わらせてはダメ！
ヨーロッパ圏なんて、最低でも３〜４カ国語は話せる人なんて、山ほどってご存知でしょうか？
だから、その言語を話せて、「何ができるのか」が大事。
But its not about "How many" languages I can speak.
I dont wanna be a person like yeah! i can speak many languages, yeah, its so cool!!!!!!....
cause do you know they are bunch of people who can speak at least 3 or 4 languages in europe area??
So my point is... importance of "What I can do" with using those languages.
◆The Name... "Hitme"
外国人に、ひとみという名前を紹介すると、発音が難しいらしく、
「ひとぉ〜みぃ〜」となるw （「と」にアクセントがくる）
でも、ある日本人の友達には、「ひとみん♪」と呼ばれる事が多く、
ある友達が、「ひっとみ〜ん♪」（「ひ」にアクセント）と叫びながら登場していた時、
それを聞いたアメリカ人も友達が、
「what??? did she just say " hit me??" hahaha」(ん？今、彼女、殴ってって言った？w）
というエピソードがあり、それから、ひっとみぃーという名前ができた。w
When I introduce my name " Hitomi", its hard for foreigners to pronounce my name.
They always make an accent like "Hi-tooo-mi" (accent comes to " TO" and its weird..haha)
However, some of my Japanese friends call me "Hito-min" as a nickname.
One day when my friend appeared shouting my name like "Hit meeeeee" , then what happen was like my American friend was there and she said " what?? did she just say "hit me" LOL???"
From this episode, the name "HIT-ME" was made...stupid episode, huh?? LOL
そして、副業では、本名で仕事をするのを避けたかった。
なぜなら、本業と副業では、別の顔を持ちたかったから。
それと、本業は、ブログに関して厳しい規制があるから。
もちろん、本業の会社について書くつもりもないし、悪いことも書かないつもり。
ただ、CAという仕事をしていると、いろんな価値観を感じることができるので、それをみなさまと共有したいだけであって。
だって、こんな素敵な体験を独り占めするには、もったいないとおもうし、
今の時代、SNSを通じて、簡単に自分の想いを共有できちゃうんだから、この手を使わない他はない。
Well, I wanted to avoid using my real name in my side business cause I wanted to have a different face for both work which are flight attendant and side business.
Moreover, in my real job, there is a super restricted rules for doing blogging but I won't write bad rumor or incorrect information about the company which they are totally concerned about so I'm doing blogging now, haha.
I just want to share what I felt during my work you know cause not all people can experience a job like flight attendant so... and its so easy to share our mind through SNS recently so why wouldn't we use these features??
